Real Communists don’t use air conditioning #venezuela
Cooled by his own personal portable air conditioner, Chávez tells the masses to “turn off the air conditioning and open a window” to save energy.
It’s mind boggling to see idiots like Sean Penn, Oliver Stone and Danny Glover supporting this guy.
Why do Venezuelans need to save electricity, you may ask? It’s El Niño’s fault, of course… at least according to Chávez. What he fails to tell the people (those he asks to take 3-minute showers and turn off the air conditioner to save the revolution) is that in 10 years his government has failed to create any new power generation projects, has kept electricity service fees artificially low, has failed to carry out maintenance protocols and has taken over all private utilities.
And this is the 21st Century Revolution? More like the middle ages.
