Visit the US on $47 a day #venezuela
Yes… $47 a day. That’s what the pathetic revolutionary government of Venezuela will allow you to use (from you own funds, mind you), according to the document shown below. Planning on going to Aruba? Well, you better figure out how you’ll make it on $20 per day (yes, that includes everything).
Meanwhile, Chavez travels around the world in his brand new multi-million dollar Airbus, takes hundreds of “aides” with him and stays at the most expensive hotels.
His personal budget for 2010, a measly US$2,200 Million!
Yes, you read that correctly: $2.2 BILLION DOLLARS.
Let’s see what he expects to use this for (while he calls on Venezuelans to save water and electricity by taking 3-minute showers and using flashlights at night):
Toiletries: $145,000
Clothing: $264,000
Shoes: $18,500 (Imelda Marcos, eat your heart out!)
Security: $16,000,000
Laundry: $405,000 (I guess if you take 3-minute showers your laundry bill has to go up)
Newspapers and periodicals: $138,000 (somebody get him a Kindle please!)
Travel expenses: $9.6 Million (that’s $26 thousand dollars per day)
New office air conditioning system: $476,000
Electric bill: $583,000
Water bill: $480,000
Food and drink for parties (very revolutionary): $2.7 Million
Enough said…
